Chicago Bulls star Lonzo Ball has denied Stephen A. Smith’s comments about his health.
The controversial pundit claimed that Ball was struggling to get up from a sitting position, so he posted a clip mocking him and telling him to review his sources, all while he was sitting down and standing up repeatedly.

Needless to say, that didn’t sit well with Stephen A., who doubled down on his criticism in his podcast, stating that his sources are actually pretty close to him, and even stating that he actually knows the doctor who performed the surgery on him.

Perhaps revealing his source wasn’t exactly the wisest thing, and chances are that the said doctor will think twice before sharing any more information with him in the future.
Ball’s situation has been one of the most bizarre in NBA history.
It’s been quite a while since we last saw him on the basketball court, and he’s set to miss the entire upcoming season as well.
He can’t seem to shake off the pain in his knee, and some fear he’ll never be able to make a comeback.
The Bulls have put together a tailor-made team around him, and the early results were quite encouraging, but Ball’s lingering knee issues have set them back, up to the point where the team was even able to be granted an exception because of that.
As for Stephen A., knowing the Ball family, this won’t be the last we hear about this controversy.
