The Buffalo Bills’ shocking decision to trade former wide receiver Stefon Diggs this week made waves with oddsmakers, too.

BetMGM notably downgraded Buffalo’s odds to win the Super Bowl after the Diggs trade.

JPAFootball tweeted the oddsmakers’ move Wednesday, downgrading the Bills’ odds to +1400 to win Super Bowl LIX.

While Buffalo remains a top-10 selection to win the Super Bowl next year, removing Diggs from Josh Allen’s arsenal leaves the Bills with a less explosive offense.

The Bills’ best option to replace Diggs’ offensive output is Curtis Samuel, who signed a three-year, $24 million deal with the team.

Samuel spent the last three seasons with the Commanders, securing over 60 catches the past two seasons and at least 600 receiving yards in both 2022 and 2023.

Other than Samuel, Buffalo’s moves have centered around retooling their offensive and defensive line.

To complete the trade with Houston, Buffalo added a pair of draft picks along with Diggs.

In return for Diggs and those picks, the Bills acquired a 2025 second-round draft selection.

Oddsmakers will wait until after the NFL Draft before significantly moving other teams’ odds to win the next Super Bowl.

Without further blockbuster moves to drastically improve their team, the Bills will continue to rank below several other AFC teams in terms of future odds of winning a Super Bowl.
