You know you’re a true NFL veteran when nothing shocks you or fazes you in the league anymore.

In fact, you know you’re a true NFL veteran when you hear the crowd going wild and celebrating a return to the playoffs, yet you can still fall asleep on the sidelines.

That’s the case with Cleveland Browns star Joe Flacco, who was trying to shake off sleep on the sidelines during his big win vs. the New York Jets.

Needless to say, that prompted countless memes, mockery, and reactions on social media, and some were simply priceless.

Joe Flacco has been lighting defenses up for the past five weeks, and the craziest part about that is that he wasn’t even on any team’s roster just a month and a half ago.

The league had already given up on the former Super Bowl champion.

But even though it might seem funny, the fact that this guy could literally fall asleep in the middle of a postseason-clinching game tells you everything you need to know about his mindset and his experience: He just won’t be bothered or fazed by the bright lights because he’s been there and done that way too many times.

There’s absolutely nothing you can do to intimidate Joe Flacco or get inside his head.

Whether the Browns will end up winning the Super Bowl or not remains to be seen, but Flacco fighting back sleep on the sidelines will be an image that’ll live on forever in NFL circles.
