It’s not a secret that the Chicago Bulls aren’t a championship contender right now.
Their roster has some good players, but they just can’t seem to figure things out.
Notably, Zach LaVine hasn’t shied away from showing his frustration about this situation over and over, and he’s even admitted that he believes he’ll eventually be traded after constantly being tangled up in trade rumors.
That’s why fans started speculating as soon as a picture of him with superagent Rich Paul went viral (via NBA Central).

LaVine is represented by Paul’s agency, Klutch Sports, so this shouldn’t be anything shocking.
Then again, Paul isn’t the one to make appearances just for the sake of it, and given his ties to LeBron James, people obviously believe something could be happening behind closed doors.
The Los Angeles Lakers could definitely use another 20+ PPG scorer, and LaVine went to college at UCLA.
He’s been tied with a trade to the Lakers multiple times in the past, and it would make sense for both parties.
However, getting him to Southern California won’t be easy at all.
He’s making a lot of money, and he’s one of the best scorers in the game, so the Bulls will need to demand a steep return for his services.
The Lakers may not have the assets it could take to get LaVine.
Still, the Bulls might want to consider blowing up their roster and starting from scratch at some point.
