Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins is prepared for a hefty fine from the NBA.
Jenkins let loose and didn’t hold back following a harsh loss to the Utah Jazz on Friday night.
He began his post-game press conference by telling the media to “saddle up.”
Following that, he kept going, according to a video shared by Damichael Cole, via Hoop Central.
“One of the most poorly officiated games I’ve ever seen. Record it. I’m fine with it. F—–g atrocious,” he said.

Jenkins didn’t stop there, commenting on the “complete disrespect” that he is noticing with the referees.
“It’s unbelievable the looks on the faces when I’m trying to engage in conversations and defend our guys that are busting their tail right now,” Jenkin said, according to the Washington Post.
Jenkins has had a very rough season so far.
His team has a jaw-dropping 1-8 record and looks much different from the squad that fans fell in love with over the last few years.
They are without Ja Morant, of course, who is still serving a major suspension from the league.
They are also without several other stars due to injuries.
On Friday night, Jaren Jackson Jr. was ejected from the game after arguing with officials about a foul.
That was the last straw for Jenkins, who was happy to share his feelings after the tough 127-121 defeat.
The season is still very young but the Grizzlies have dug an extensive hole for themselves.
If things continue in this direction, they will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2020.
Now that he’s expressed himself clearly, Jenkins will suffer the consequences from the league and then get back to work at pushing his team in the right direction.
