The Las Vegas Raiders have become the first team to make a coaching change this year.

It did not take very long as they decided to fire head coach Josh McDaniels.

This came after an embarrassing Monday Night Football loss to the Detroit Lions.

The Raiders looked unprepared and McDaniels’ offense was terrible in the game.

Las Vegas decided to fire McDaniels, their GM Dave Ziegler, and offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi.

The Raiders have announced that linebackers coach Antonio Pierce will take over as interim head coach.

This is a lost season in Las Vegas, as their front office is looking towards 2024.

Colin Cowherd thinks he already knows who the next Raiders head coach should be.

Cowherd suggested the only man they should go for is Jim Harbaugh.

Cowherd mentioned that Harbaugh has worked everywhere he has been.

He has success at three colleges and was great with the San Francisco 49ers.

Harbaugh might even be looking to get back into the NFL.

Accusations of his team stealing signs at Michigan have brought up plenty of problems.

Seeing him head back to the NFL after this season should not be out of the question.

Harbaugh would be a slam-dunk hire for the Raiders.

He would bring plenty of publicity and make them one of the most talked about teams in football.

But, they would still need to find a new quarterback for Harbaugh to work with.

Jimmy Garoppolo is not the guy, and Aidan O’Connell will get a chance to show what he can do.

While hiring the right coach is important, if your quarterback is not good none of it will matter.
