Game 1 of the WNBA Finals turned out to be a star-studded affair at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, with plenty of celebrities and star athletes in attendance.

Along with Brooklyn Nets stars Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson, Ben Simmons, and Nic Claxton being seen courtside cheering on the New York Liberty, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was also courtside rooting for the Las Vegas Aces.

Although James didn’t play in his team’s first preseason game against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night at the Chase Center, he made sure to be at Game 1 of the WNBA Finals to show support for the Aces via Hoop Central.

James was sitting next to Lakers assistant coach Phil Handy and WNBA legend Sheryl Swoopes while watching the Aces come out with the 17-point win over the Liberty to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Along with James, Swoops, Handy and some Nets stars, NFL legend Tom Brady and Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis were seen sitting courtside to watch Game 1.

Brady shares ownership of the Aces along with Davis and has been seen in Las Vegas quite a bit since he announced his retirement after the 2022 NFL season.

As for James, the Lakers will get back to work on Monday night when they take on Bridges and the Nets at the T-Mobile Center in Las Vegas.

Following that game against the Nets, James and the Lakers will head back to California to face the division-rival Sacramento Kings at the Honda Center in Anaheim on Oct. 11.
