Camila Alves isn’t alright, alright, alright with this perception of her husband Matthew McConaughey.
The model addressed a misconception about the Interstellar actor, noting that he’s nothing like the idle character people make him out to be.
“When we first start dating, it was this image of Matthew of getting high, laid back, no shirt, whatever,” Camila said in a recent episode of Southern Living’s Biscuits & Jam podcast. “Which I’m like, ‘The guy doesn’t even smoke. What is this vision coming from?'”
In fact, Camila, who tied the knot with Matthew in 2012, said the Oscar winner takes up after his mom Mary Kathleen McCabe.
“He’s actually the opposite, and he’s like his mom,” she added. “She’s very organized, very minimalistic, very on time, very prepared, and he gets a lot of those traits from her.”
Earlier in the podcast, Camila recounted her first experiences with Mary, who the family refers to as Ma Mac.
