Special Counsel Nears Charging Decisions on January 6

We learned last night that special counsel Jack Smith’s team is asking witnesses about the unhinged Oval Office meeting on December 18, 2020, in which Donald Trump considered some of the most desperate proposals to keep himself in power.

The January 6 Committee discovered that the meeting involved hours of screaming, with some participants even on the verge of tears.
