After being embarrassed in the NBA playoffs as the top seed getting eliminated by the eighth-seeded Miami Heat, the Milwaukee Bucks headed into the offseason with their heads hanging low and hoping to keep their team intact for another run.

Unfortunately for Milwaukee, the prospect of bringing everyone back, namely Brook Lopez and Khris Middleton, looked bleak, with both players likely to receive substantial offers on the open market as unrestricted free agents.

Although it looked like the Bucks could be headed for disaster this summer, the opposite has happened, with Lopez and Middleton agreeing to new deals and the team bringing in a few pieces to the championship puzzle in free agency.

On Monday, the Bucks may have gotten a steal in former Los Angeles Lakers sharpshooter Malik Beasley, who agreed to a one-year deal with the team for the veteran minimum, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Although Beasley struggled with the Lakers during his short time in Los Angeles this past season, the veteran shooter can definitely become a valuable asset to the Bucks if he can get back to shooting at a high clip.

With Beasley in the fold, along with the return of Middleton, the Bucks will be able to stretch the floor a bit more next season, which obviously bodes well for the success of superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo during the 2023-24 campaign.

Beasley played in 81 games last season, averaging 12.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game, shooting 39.5% from the floor and 35.7% from beyond the arc.
