The Buffalo Bills defense was one of the league’s best in 2022, allowing just 17.5 points per game.
This was the second-lowest total in the league, behind just the San Francisco 49ers.
The Bills defense was able to be successful despite having an injury-ridden team.
As they have gotten healthier throughout the offseason, many believe the Bills have what it takes to compete for the AFC’s top spot.
None have been more publicly confident than Greg Rousseau, who has recently made a bold claim.
According to Ryan O’Halloran of The Buffalo News, Rousseau said, “I want to get to that next level,” which means, “double-digit sacks.”

Rousseau will be entering his third NFL season in 2022.
In his rookie campaign, Rousseau totaled 50 tackles, 10 quarterback hits, and four sacks.
While his overall tackle numbers were down in 2022, he did double his sack total and had four more quarterback hits.
He is confident in his ability to succeed this season, especially given his relationship with another top defender in the league.
Rousseau indicated that he is close with Maxx Crosby, who has shared some insight and wisdom with him.
As the article from The Buffalo News indicates, Crosby has achieved 37.5 sacks in four seasons.
To catch up to Crosby, Rousseau would have to gather at least 12.5 sacks per year over the next two seasons.
Can he achieve the level of success that he is so desperately seeking?
