Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers aren’t considered championship favorites right now.

Nevertheless, this could be a good thing for them.

Whenever they were considered serious contenders, something bad happened to them.

Now, people seem to be overlooking them, which could work in their favor.

Kawhi Leonard has sent a message to his teammates ahead of this year’s playoffs, showing his confidence in the team.

Leonard made it clear that nothing is granted to the Clippers, especially at this point.

They need to get hot ahead of the playoffs since they could see a difficult rival in the first round.

The Phoenix Suns would be their first matchup if the season finished right now, and the Clippers know that is a big challenge.

Leonard had a cold response when asked about the Suns, pretty much saying he hasn’t paid attention to them.

Leonard is aware that his team can be dangerous too, and he’s focused on being the best player in the postseason.

Paul George is still sidelined, but the Clips have found a great piece in Russell Westbrook.

The point guard is trying to make a statement with the Clippers.

They need to win a championship this season to silence the doubters and show that they’re anything but done.

The Clippers finish their season today in a game against the aforementioned Suns, which could be a first-round duel preview.

This team has done the job and now is headed to the postseason. Where they land isn’t a problem for their head coach or players.
