There may not be a ton of stud wide receivers set to hit the NFL’s free agent market in March, but there will be some notable ones who could bolster a team’s offense and possibly be one of its final pieces.

The most notable member of that group will be JuJu Smith-Schuster, who played a key role in helping the Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl LVII over the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this month.

Smith-Schuster had one of the best seasons of his six-year career by putting up 933 yards on 78 catches and three touchdowns for the world champs.

The Chiefs acquired him last offseason in an attempt to replace the production of star wideout Tyreek Hill, who was traded to the Miami Dolphins in a surprise move.

Some thought the Chiefs would take a step back without the man they call “Cheetah,” but behind Smith-Schuster and fellow wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling, not to mention All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce, they still finished first in points, total yards, passing touchdowns, and first downs.

If Kansas City were to lose Smith-Schuster, it would be a sizable blow to their chances of winning a third Super Bowl in five years and getting closer to becoming a legitimate dynasty.

Some may not like his attitude, especially after he mocked the Eagles’ James Bradberry on social media following the questionable holding call near the end of the Super Bowl, but he improved his standing across the league after his strong and victorious 2022 campaign.

Should he leave the Chiefs, he will provide plenty of value for his next team.
