In the tribute, the Dopesick alum commended her late mom for “fighting so hard,” adding that their time together will “never be enough.”
“I miss your smile, your sense of humor, your hugs, your kisses, getting to hold your hand, more than anything in the world,” she continued. “You made everything better. My sweetest, beautiful girl. My best friend. Oh how much I love you. What a gift it is to love you.”
But Kaitlyn is keeping her mother’s memory alive, sharing a heartfelt Instagram post to mark her mom’s birthday Dec. 4. Alongside a series of sweet throwback photos, she also posted a clip of herself lighting birthday candles on a plate of cupcakes and placing flowers at what appeared to be her mother’s grave.
Kaitlyn captioned the post writing, “Happy heavenly birthday mama.”
