The New York Jets enter “Thursday Night Football” against the Houston Texans badly needing a win, and they hope this game won’t turn into another frightening experience.

The Texans are short-handed without injured wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Nico Collins, but given how spooky this season has been for the Jets, the game won’t be easy for them.

But New York linebacker Quincy Williams seemed to be in a jovial mood, as he celebrated Halloween by showing up to MetLife Stadium dressed as the Joker, per Jets Videos.

The one thing the Jets have going for them is the talent they have on the defensive side of the football, and through eight games, Williams has 57 total tackles (39 solo) and five tackles for loss.

However, that defense hasn’t lived up to expectations.

New York’s run defense has been weak, and the offense hasn’t been able to pick up the slack.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has clearly declined and could be the biggest reason the Jets have just two wins in eight games.

To make matters worse, kicker Greg Zuerlein has struggled, as he made just nine of his 15 field goal attempts this season before being placed on injured reserve.

Earlier this month, the Jets traded for Davante Adams, Rodgers’ former teammate with the Green Bay Packers, and it was thought the wide receiver would give the offense a shot in the arm and a better chance at making the playoffs.

But the All-Pro has just 84 receiving yards through two games with New York, and it remains to be seen if he will return to form anytime soon.
