The New York Jets got another star for their offense.
Adding Davante Adams to the mix gives them even more offensive firepower and even fewer excuses.
Now, Woody Johnson and Joe Douglas have added some extra juice to the defense as well.
According to a report by Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, star pass rusher Haason Reddick has agreed to a reworked contract and will, in turn, report to the team.
The #Jets will get Haason Reddick back, as he’s agreed to a reworked contract and will report to the team. The NFL’s final holdout has ended.

Reddick will now play on a short-term deal, hoping that his play leads to a long-term agreement.
Needless to say, it didn’t take long before the fans took to social media to react to the news.
Smart move by both sides, Reddick can prove his value for a future deal.

Reddick is one of the best pass rushers in the game, so it’s only normal that he’s compensated as such.
Then again, that was never going to happen unless he was willing to meet the team in the middle as well.
He was recently dropped by his longtime agents, but his decision to hire Drew Rosenhaus made it loud and clear that he intended to get back on the field as soon as possible.
The Jets are officially in desperation mode, and it’s evident that they want to spare no effort in a potential Super Bowl run.
Whether Reddick gets on the field to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football remains to be seen, and he might be on a snap count if he does.
Whatever the case, their team just got significantly better over the past week or so.
