The 2024-2025 NBA Season is rapidly approaching, with the first games tipping off on October 22nd.
Teams only have a few more days to get themselves prepared for the new campaign, hoping to start strong.
There are eyes on every team in the league at this time, but some tend to get more looks than others.
One of those teams with more eyes on them is the Los Angeles Clippers.
Not only do they play in a big market, but they have several superstars on their team, and many believe they are in line to make a deep run in the playoffs.
Plus, they added Tyronn Lue as their head coach in the offseason, someone who knows a thing or two about success.
Lue’s expertise should help guide this team in the right direction, if nothing else.
Of course, having the right players in place is imperative for the Clippers, and it’s hard for them to do that when some of their stars are sidelined.
One of the Clippers’ biggest stars is Kawhi Leonard, and people are starting to wonder when they’ll see him on the floor this season.
Lue was asked about this, as Clutch Points highlighted on X, and he said, “He’s getting treatment. He’s going through the process of rehabbing his right knee.”
Reporter: “What’s the latest update on Kawhi Leonard?”
Tyronn Lue: “He’s getting treatment. He’s going through the process of rehabbing his right knee.”
“Still nothing at practice?”
“No.”

Lue also indicated that Leonard is still not at practice.
At this point, it’s unlikely that Leonard will be on the floor in the Clippers’ season opener, and his return to the court is to be determined.
Will the Clippers find a way to be dominant in the Western Conference without his contributions?
