Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs keep finding ways to win.
They’ve won with an explosive offense full of big plays and they’ve won with short passes and an evident shortage of offensive talent.
They’ve also done it by riding their defense and just keeping the chains in motion.
Notably, that’s what happens when you have the best quarterback in the game; he just finds ways to get the job done.
That became very evident in a pic shared by PFF on Twitter.

The image shows that Mahomes leads the league in total games with at least 300 passing yards over the past two seasons (14).
Josh Allen (11) and Jared Goff (10) round up the top three.
Mahomes drew some criticism last season for trying to do too much and forcing things every now and then, but he needed to do that in order for his team even to stand a chance to win.
He’s been much more mature of late, understanding that he doesn’t have to do everything or go for the home run on every dropback, trusting his defense, and making better reads in real time.
Mahomes might not be the most athletic player or even the fastest, but his ability to shake off pressure, scramble, and make incredible throws made him the most electrifying quarterback in today’s game.
Now, he’ll look to keep the ball rolling and this momentum going by pursuing his third consecutive Super Bowl win, which would put him and the Chiefs in a position that no other NFL team has ever been in.
