The Philadelphia Eagles have done well so far this offseason, as they started it off by snagging star running back Saquon Barkley from the NFC East rival New York Giants.

They then gave contract extensions to their top wide receivers — DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown — and used their first two draft picks on cornerbacks Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean.

On Monday, Philly cleared some roster room by releasing four players — defensive tackle Noah Elliss, wide receiver Griffin Hebert, defensive back Tiawan Mullen, and offensive lineman Lecitus Smith, per ProFootballTalk.

Elliss went undrafted in 2022 out of the University of Idaho, where he had 6.5 tackles for loss, 1.0 sacks, and 46 total tackles in 10 games as a junior.

In two seasons with the Eagles, he did not appear in a game.

After four seasons at Louisiana Tech University, Hebert joined the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2023.

He was waived just before the start of the regular season, and the Eagles swooped him up in late December to add him to their practice squad.

Mullen spent four years at Indiana University and totaled 28 passes defended and nine tackles for loss during his time there.

Afterward, he went to the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent, and he joined Philly’s practice squad just before the start of the regular season, was waived in late October and then returned in January.

Smith, a sixth-round draft pick in 2022, played 10 games for the Arizona Cardinals as a rookie before Philly added him to their practice squad this past November.
