Maple Leafs pull Samsonov, put in Woll to start third period in Game 4

The Toronto Maple Leafs have made a goaltending change in Game 4 of their first-round series.

Joseph Woll replaced Ilya Samsonov in the net to start the third period, with the Maple Leafs trailing the Boston Bruins 3-0 in the game.

Samsonov, who had started every game in the series, had allowed three goals on 16 shots through the first two periods.

Woll, 25, had a .907 save percentage in 25 games for the Maple Leafs this season.

The third goal, by David Pastrnak in the final minute of the second, led to fans raining boos down upon the Leafs as the teams headed to the locker rooms.
