J.J. Watt Reacts To Texans’ Big Trade For Stefon Diggs

The Houston Texans just got significantly better.

Adding Stefon Diggs to their roster is just the latest in a string of moves that have set this team up for success.

That’s why former Texans star J.J. Watt believes they’ve now officially become a “top-tier” destination, citing the additions of DeMeco Ryans, Danielle Hunter, CJ Stroud, Will Anderson Jr., and now Diggs as catalysts for this organization.

The Texans have been bottom-feeders for most of their history, but that’s no longer the case.

Both Stroud and Anderson proved to be potential generational talents on both sides of the field during their rookie campaigns, and now, GM Nick Caserio is doubling down on that investment by making sure they have absolutely everything they need to thrive.

It’s crazy to think that this team won just three games two years ago.

Ironically, that seemingly meaningless win in the season finale wound up being a blessing in disguise for this team, and they should build Lovie Smith a statue outside of NRG Stadium.

The Texans look like a team that’s poised to compete and be a major powerhouse in the AFC for years to come, and they need to make the most of this window before they have to pay their young stars some big bucks.

This team is going to be significantly better this season, and that’s a scary thought for the rest of the division.
