The Arizona Cardinals have been relatively quiet so far this offseason, but they’re poised to make a big splash in this month’s draft with the No. 4 pick.

There has been some talk they may trade down with a team such as the Minnesota Vikings, but other than that, they seem to be in the market for a game-changing wide receiver.

Per Around The NFL, they’re reportedly going to meet with Marvin Harrison Jr., who is generally considered the best WR prospect this year, sometime this week.

Harrison caught 67 passes for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns while averaging 18.1 yards per reception in 2023 as a member of Ohio State.

He is the son of Marvin Harrison, who made eight Pro Bowls and won a Super Bowl championship with the Indianapolis Colts back in the 2000s.

Arizona already has Kyler Murray, a two-time Pro Bowler, at quarterback, and it seems like they will stick with him under center, even though they could potentially draft a signal-caller such as the University of Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy at No. 4.

With Murray limited to eight games in 2023 due to an ACL injury he suffered the previous season, Arizona won just four games and were seemingly out of the postseason race from the start.

They had parted ways with star wideout DeAndre Hopkins last offseason, and none of their wide receivers reached 600 receiving yards in 2023.

If the Cardinals do trade down in the draft, it could have a ripple effect that starts with the Los Angeles Chargers, who have the No. 5 pick and also badly need a high-quality wide receiver.
