A Few Thoughts for the End of the Week


Former Sen. Joe Lieberman died this week. He was a confounding figure to many Democrats, but as my home state senator it was fascinating to watch his evolution from liberal Democrat to conservative Democrat to independent.

Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont (D) — the man who forced Lieberman out of the Democratic party by beating him in a U.S. Senate primary — offered very kind words on news of his passing:
