Grupo Lala names ex-Danone exec new CEO

Mexican dairy major Grupo Lala is to appoint Francisco Camacho Beltran as its new CEO.

Beltran will take over from Arquímedes Adriano Célis Ordaz as of 1 May.

Célis Ordaz had been working in the position since 2019, when he replaced Mauricio Leyva as interim CEO.

He will stay “linked to Grupo Lala”, retaining a position on the company’s board.

Just Food has asked Grupo Lala to confirm the reasons behind his departure.

Camacho Beltran holds 30 years of experience in the consumer products sector, having worked for French dairy major Danone, drinks and retail group FEMSA, as well as the cosmetics company Revlon and consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble.
