The New York Knicks didn’t find a lot of trouble getting past the Miami Heat.

Then again, the alarms sounded off at Madison Square Garden shortly after the game, as it seemed like they had to pay a big price to get the win.

All-Star PF Julius Randle injured his shoulder late in the win over the Heat, and it didn’t look good at all.

Fortunately, the fans can take a deep breath in relief, as Shams Charania of The Athletic revealed that Randle would be out for a few weeks with a dislocated shoulder.

“Knicks star Julius Randle is expected to be sidelined for at least a few weeks with a right shoulder dislocation,” Charania said.

They originally thought they would be without their second-best scorer for a long layoff, but an MRI showed no structural damage.

The Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers are currently going toe-to-toe for the No. 4 spot in the Eastern Conference, and they’re just six games behind the first-placed Boston Celtics.

Needless to say, losing Randle is going to be a massive blow to their offense, especially considering they don’t have much depth at that position.

That’s an issue they could look to address in the next couple of days leading to the trade deadline, with Precious Achiuwa most likely stepping up to fill in for him in the meantime.

The Knicks will continue to rely heavily on Jalen Brunson, who’s posting All-Star-caliber numbers yet again.

Now, it’ll be his time to prove his worth and show that he can lead this team on his own.
