The 2023-24 NBA season is currently at its peak, and fans are witnessing a plethora of amazing games from their favorite superstars in the league.

Speaking of which, Luka Doncic recently had a phenomenal scoring night against the Atlanta Hawks, where he ended up with 73 points.

Apart from scoring 73 points, Doncic also had 10 rebounds and 7 assists to his name.

The Dallas Mavericks superstar was just three assists shy of having a 73-point triple-double.

Keeping that in mind, it’s no surprise that Doncic is receiving praise from all around the globe for his incredible performance.

Among them was none other than the Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson, who reacted to Doncic’s 73-point night via his official Twitter handle.

“What’s going on in the NBA?! The league is on fire with another dominate performance. This time, Luka Doncic! 73 points, wow!” Johnson said.

Magic Johnson initially wondered what was happening in the NBA as players keep stacking points with brilliant scoring performances in the 2023-24 NBA season.

Previously, it was Joel Embiid who scored 70 points against the San Antonio Spurs, and now, it’s obviously Luka Doncic who obliterated the Hawks with a 73-point night.

Johnson also praised Doncic for pulling down 10 rebounds and ultimately leading the Mavericks to a 148-143 win against the Hawks.

Following the win, the Dallas Mavericks have improved their record to 25-20 in the 2023-24 NBA season.

However, considering the tough competition in the Western Conference this season, the Mavericks remain the eighth seed.

At the end of the day, Luka Doncic will most likely prefer leading the Mavericks to a high seed in the Western Conference when it’s all said and done rather than having another 73-point scoring night.
