In their first season post-Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers made a surprising appearance in the 2023 NFL season and nearly upset the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round.

Their near-win came after a dominant performance against the Dallas Cowboys the week prior where they convincingly won 48-32.

At the heart of both those games was Jordan Love who elevated his game in his first postseason games and now looks like a legitimate franchise quarterback.

Love exceeded all expectations during the regular season and is line to get paid handsomely in the offseason.

The young signal caller steadily improved throughout the year and should now be considered the team’s answer at the position for the foreseeable future.

Brett Favre is one of the few people who understand what it’s like to play for the Packers and he voiced his support for Love via his personal Twitter account.

“Great game and tough loss for my Packers. I’m sure I speak for all packer fans when I say “we are very proud of you and can’t wait to see what the future holds”. Lots to be excited about.Jordan keep your chin up because I believe you can be the best Packer QB yet.Congrats 49ers,” Favre tweeted.

It’s quite the endorsement for Favre to make considering he and Aaron Rodgers led Green Bay to Super Bowl championships.

Love only has one playoff win under his belt as a starter, but it’s hard not to be excited about his future.

Although he’s got a long way to go before he lives up to the standards of Favre and Rodgers, Love appears ready for the challenge.
