On Sunday, perhaps the most anticipated matchup in the NFL playoffs thus far will take place at Highmark Stadium, with Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills set to host the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

The postseason battles in the past have been epic between these two AFC heavyweights, and this upcoming showdown in Buffalo shouldn’t be any different, with the Bills in an ideal situation to take down the Chiefs and Kansas City desperate enough to put up a fight.

One of the major concerns for the Bills heading into this game against the Chiefs was the wide receiver position, with stars Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis dealing with injuries that could jeopardize their playing status.

Unfortunately for Davis, he’s been ruled out for this playoff matchup with the Chiefs, but the same can’t be said for Diggs, who is officially off the injury report and will play against Kansas City, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Obviously, losing Davis for this game is a big blow for the passing game, but getting Diggs back on the field avoids a potentially devastating situation for the passing game on Sunday in Buffalo.

In the win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the playoffs, Diggs caught a game-high seven passes for 52 receiving yards.

Although the Chiefs haven’t been the same dominant force of old this season, Kansas City is still a major threat heading into this game, meaning the Bills will have to be firing on all cylinders in order to come out on top and having Diggs on the field will help tremendously.
