After barely making it into the NFL playoffs, the Green Bay Packers clinched the seventh seed in the NFC and had the odds against them going up against Dak Prescott and the second-seeded Dallas Cowboys on Sunday during Wild Card Weekend.

Along with being a long-shot to come out on top against one of the best all-around teams in the league, the Packers had an inexperienced roster led by quarterback Jordan Love, who had some giant shoes to fill this season after Green Bay traded superstar Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets.

Fortunately for the Packers, Love came ready to play on Sunday, as he outplayed Prescott from start to finish, with 272 passing yards and three passing touchdowns to his credit without a turnover.

As if Love wasn’t impressive enough in his playoff debut for Green Bay, he became the first quarterback in league history with a perfect passer rating of 158.3 in his first playoff game, according to The 33rd Team.

After a strong finish in the second half of the regular season, Love started to prove his doubters wrong, but now he’s put himself in a position to do something special in these playoffs if he can lead his team to a win over the top-seeded San Francisco 49ers next weekend.

The 49ers are, without a doubt, the best team in the NFC right now and will pose a very tough challenge for the upstart Packers, but it could be another situation where Love and company are underestimated, and Green Bay has the opportunity to take advantage.
