Israel Gaza: Palestinian girl shows bombed remains of house next door

Nadin Abdullatif, originally from Gaza City, is again without shelter. She and her family first fled after air strikes “completely destroyed” their Gaza City home, killing her elder brother.

After setting up in Rafah, the house next door was hit by an Israeli strike and destroyed – leaving Nadin “terrified”.

“I already lost my older brother, I can’t lose my younger brother,” she says.

The war began after Hamas led a deadly attack on communities inside Israel, killing 1,200 people, and seizing about 240 hostages.

More than 21,300 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli bombardments since then, according to Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry. Most of the fatalities are said to be children and women.
