There have been many legendary MLB players who have played for the Atlanta Braves.

But, not all of them are in Cooperstown part of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

That is the one goal that every player who puts on a baseball uniform strives for.

Yet, it is very difficult to make the Hall of Fame.

One player who is realizing that firsthand is Andruw Jones.

Jones has been on the Hall of Fame ballot since 2018.

He has since gained votes every year and could eventually find himself a part of the Hall.

According to MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM, Jones had 58.1% of the vote last year.

He needs 75% of the vote to be elected to the Hall of Fame.

Jones talked about his HOF chances and said: “You just have to be patient. If it happens, it will be a great moment for myself and my family.”

If not this year, there seems to be a good chance Jones will be a Hall of Famer by 2025.

He has a great resume and is thought of as one of the best defensive center fielders of all time.

Jones is a 10-time Gold Glove winner and five-time All-Star.

He has 434 career home runs and batted .254 for his career.

Each offseason it is interesting to see which players get voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Every player that makes the Hall of Fame ballot only gets 10 years to be inducted.

If they do not make it in that time they are removed from the ballot.

Jones’ time is running out but he is trending in the right direction.
