Former Player Makes A Bold Statement About Ravens

The most anticipated game in the NFL over the holiday weekend will be the San Francisco 49ers playing host to the Baltimore Ravens at Levi’s Stadium, with the distinction of being the best team in the league on the line along with Brock Purdy and Lamar Jackson battling it out for the edge in the NFL MVP race.

It’d be safe to say that the Ravens have more to win in this game, with the 49ers already seemingly like the best team in the league after their big wins over the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles recently.

Even though the Ravens have been impressive this season in what the team has been able to do on its way to winning 11 games thus far, the team hasn’t really faced any elite teams thus far, outside of some formidable divisional opponents like the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals, who are both without their starting quarterbacks.

A win over the 49ers in Week 16 would be a huge boost in the right direction for the Ravens, as Baltimore would be viewed as arguably the team to beat moving forward with the NFL playoffs right around the corner.

Former NFL wide receiver James Jones argues that if the Ravens come out on top against the 49ers, they will ultimately be headed for the Super Bowl, as they will have proven their worth via Speak On FS1.

Jones is right on the money with his assessment because this will be a massive statement game for the Ravens as well as Jackson, with the team needing this win to strike fear in AFC opponents heading into the postseason.

Even though the 49ers might still be favored to win it all, Baltimore would make a clear statement with a win and prove to be a legitimate force to be reckoned with moving forward.
