These days, every active and retired athlete in the NBA and NFL has a podcast and makes headlines on a regular basis for saying things that might be viewed as controversial.

Former Golden State Warriors star Andre Iguodala is one of those retired players who has dipped into the podcast universe to share his two cents about the game or share some stories about what he’s seen behind the scenes during what was a long and successful career in the league.

However, whenever a player is willing to say anything or even lightly criticize a former teammate or opponent, they open themselves up to getting attacked on the other end by a response from said player, which seems to be what has happened in this instance.

Iguodala and current Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant were teammates with the Warriors, but it appears that Durant didn’t like being labeled as someone who doesn’t lift weights, as he took to Twitter to fire back at Iguodala.

From Durant’s physique, it’s easy to see that he probably doesn’t lift weights or at least doesn’t prioritize it as something that he does often or is part of his regiment to prepare for games during the season.

Iguodala, however, seems to be the complete opposite, so saying that Durant doesn’t lift at all might have been a little too much because he might not do as much in comparison.

It’ll be interesting to see where this goes and whether Iguodala fires back at his former teammate for taking this to social media.
