The Philadelphia Eagles have been dealing with a gauntlet of difficult opponents over the last several weeks, and they had been dealing with it very well until their 42-19 loss on Sunday to the San Francisco 49ers.

They will have an opportunity to get back on track this Sunday, but they will have to do so on the road against the Dallas Cowboys, a team that has been getting hot lately.

The Cowboys not only have a 9-3 record, which is just one game worse than Philly’s record, but they have won an incredible 14 consecutive games at home.

Dallas hasn’t lost a game at AT&T Stadium since Week 1 of last season when they fell 19-3 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Quarterback Dak Prescott has been playing well in their last several games, so much so that he has now entered the MVP race, and many feel he has surpassed Philly quarterback Jalen Hurts in that competition.

The Cowboys are an excellent all-around team on both sides of the football, and they have scored over 40 points in four of their last six games.

Philly’s pass defense is iffy, and that is a deficiency the Cowboys can take advantage of.

These two teams met in the Delaware Valley in Week 9, and the Eagles won by five points when Prescott failed to lead what would’ve been the game-winning drive with less than a minute left.

If the Cowboys triumph this time, it would give them an excellent chance of not only finishing first in the NFC West but of claiming the top seed in the entire conference.
