The Green Bay Packers went into Sunday Night Football as six-point underdogs to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Even though this was a home game for the Packers, the odds were stacked against them as they took on the reigning Super Bowl champs.
The Packers’ unlikely winning streak continued through a solid defensive performance and another three-touchdown game from Jordan Love.
This win was meaningful for the Packers’ current season but also meant something extra special for head coach Matt LaFleur.
As Adam Schefter outlined in a recent tweet, LaFleur holds a 16-0 record in December throughout his tenure as the Packers’ head coach.

The Packers’ season has been up and down in Love’s first season as their full-time starting quarterback.
Despite their early-season woes, the Packers have won three straight, including their win over the Chiefs.
LaFleur deserves a lot of credit for their mid-season turnaround, especially in the organization’s first year without Aaron Rodgers.
Expectations were tapered heading into the year, but with this streak in mind, the Packers are now poised to make a playoff run.
Beating the Chiefs could go a long way in securing that positioning, especially with their upcoming schedule in mind.
The Packers have five games left this year, but none are against teams with winning records.
The best team remaining on their schedule is the Minnesota Vikings, who are currently 6-6 but trending downward.
Josh Dobbs is coming off a four-interception game, which led to an eventual Vikings loss.
Their other upcoming opponents, including the Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, and Chicago Bears, are having tough years.
Can the duo of Love and LaFleur keep this Packers team afloat, keeping themselves alive in the playoff mix?
