The Philadelphia 76ers are in danger of falling behind to the Boston Celtics in the second round of the NBA playoffs three games to one, which is obviously not ideal for Joel Embiid and company moving forward.
The 76ers have been able to get Embiid back on the floor in this series after he was dealing with a knee sprain that forced him to miss Game 1, but it hasn’t altered the series outcome in the way they had hoped, with Boston winning the last two games.
Ahead of Game 4 in Philadelphia, head coach Doc Rivers was asked a question that didn’t sit well with the fiery leader on the sideline for the 76ers.
Rivers was asked what the level of urgency is for his team heading into a crucial game on their home floor on Sunday, and he was irritated with the question because of the obvious answer he would give via Dave Uram of KYW Newsradio.
Sixers are down 2-1 to the Celtics heading into Game 4 of this second round series.

Rivers is not one to shy away from making an example of a reporter that asks a silly question in the NBA playoffs, and this was a perfect example of that as he didn’t hold back.
Although the reporter was doing his job, and the answer might go differently for another head coach, Rivers points out that the reporter couldn’t come up with anything better than that between games.
However, the 76ers do have their backs against the wall in this game, as Game 4 is usually when the playoff series takes a turn.
If Philadelphia comes out on top, the 76ers are right back in it with the series tied at two games apiece, but if not, the Celtics head home for Game 5, where they can close out the series on their home floor.
