After losing a thrilling overtime game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night on the road, the Buffalo Bills have fallen to 6-6 on the season and continue to see their chances of clinching a playoff spot diminish.

Unfortunately for Buffalo, the team couldn’t hold off Jalen Hurts and company in overtime despite being the first team to score, with kicker Tyler Bass connecting on a 40-yard field goal.

The Eagles were then able to make an inspired drive down the field to put them in position to score a touchdown and end the game, which is exactly what happened, with Hurts getting in the end zone for his second rushing touchdown of the day.

Although the Bills showed a lot of fight in this game against arguably the best team in the NFL right now, Allen won’t forget this loss anytime soon, as he now has the most losses without a win or tie in overtime by a starting quarterback, according to NFL on ESPN.

No one doubts Allen’s talent, as he is, without doubt, one of the best quarterbacks in the game today, but he hasn’t been able to get the job done in crucial moments, which leads to some wondering whether he’ll ever be able to lead the Bills to that elusive Super Bowl title.

Unfortunately for Allen, things won’t get any easier from here on out for the Bills, with the team having a brutal schedule to end the season.

The Bills will face the Kanas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Chargers, and Miami Dolphins in four of their final five regular-season games.
