Despite some messy showings, the Pittsburgh Steelers somehow manage to win games at an impressive clip during the 2023 NFL season.

Head coach Mike Tomlin has always been able to get the most out of his teams and this year is no different as the Steelers are well on their way to claiming a playoff berth.

Pittsburgh has been hit with several injuries over the course of the regular season, though they finally seem to be getting healthy and peaking at the right time.

The Steelers have a pivotal game in Week 11 against their AFC North rivals the Cleveland Browns and they are considered the favorites as the Browns will be without Deshaun Watson who will miss the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury.

However, Pittsburgh has seen some key players return to the field in recent weeks and they are getting more reinforcements as tight end Pat Freiermuth will make his return after the team activated him from injured reserve via the team’s official Twitter account.

Freiermuth has been out since Week 4 after suffering a hamstring injury that landed him on IR.

The former second-round pick came into the year looking to break out for the offense, but so far he has only managed to record eight receptions for 53 yards.

With Freiermuth back in the mix, Kenny Pickett will have his full assortment of receiving options which bodes well for him and the rest of the offense considering how stout the Cleveland defense has been this season.

Freiermuth should be on a snap count in his first game back, but he should still help out the Steelers.
