The Los Angeles Clippers made the bold move recently to acquire superstar guard James Harden in a blockbuster trade with the Philadelphia 76ers, which makes their roster one of the most star-studded in the NBA today.

The Clippers have four players on their squad who have run their own franchises at one point or another during their careers, which makes the transition to being off-ball players extremely difficult and something that will take some time to get used to in Los Angeles.

So far, the Harden experiment in Los Angeles has been a disaster, with the team having yet to win a game since they made the trade with the 76ers.

Obviously, that’s a red flag that this may not work for the Clippers, but it is far too early to say that this move was a mistake, as this team still has a lot of time to turn things around.

Austin Rivers, who played with Harden and Russell Westbrook on the Houston Rockets, believes he knows what the answer to the Clippers’ problems are right now, via NBA on ESPN.

The Clippers staggering their star players is something the team should try doing, as Rivers suggests, because having the majority of them on the floor at the same time results in chaos and confusion.

Only time will tell whether the Clippers can right the ship and get this to work in Los Angeles, but there’s no doubt that Tyronn Lue and company have their work cut out for them moving forward.
