The NFC South division is wide open, with three teams in the running to win the division title and punch their ticket to the NFL playoffs.

The New Orleans Saints are currently atop the division standings with a record of 5-5, but Derek Carr and company being in first place is in danger with the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers right behind them.

That said, the three-team race in the division is heating up, with each game being crucial and their star players needing to step up in the second half of the 2023 NFL regular season.

Despite an impressive start to his rookie season, star running back Bijan Robinson has been used differently by the team as of late, with some questionable decisions by head coach Arthur Smith.

However, he may have heard the criticism about how he’s using Robinson, as he’s mixed things up a bit coming into Week 10 against the Arizona Cardinals, with the rookie getting some run as a punt returner, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic via Dov Kleiman of Bro Bible.

Although this gives Robinson more of an opportunity to make an impact on this team, it seems like an unnecessary risk for arguably the team’s best offensive weapon.

Making Robinson a punt returner puts his health at risk, which is a bit perplexing because this team likely isn’t going anywhere without him, as they already struggle offensively.

It’ll be interesting to see if this move pays off and doesn’t prove costly to the Falcons’ hopes of making a playoff push.
