Besides being arguably the greatest player in NFL history, Tom Brady also happens to be very good at basketball.

He’s often spotted scrimmaging and playing pickup with some friends, even getting a chance to team up with Michael Jordan himself during a 2-on-2 in the Bahamas.

However, even a former professional athlete, who’s still in great shape, knows when he cannot beat another guy in his sport.

That seemed to be the case when he got to stand side by side with San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion shared a pic of him standing next to the French star, and he admitted that, as much as he’d like to joke about him getting 10 points and ten boards against him, he knows Wembanyama would most likely block his shot into oblivion (via 50 Nuancs).

Then, he took a hilarious shot at his lifelong teammate and friend, Julian Edelman, asking him if that’s how he felt all these years because of the height difference between the two.

Brady was listed at 6-foot-4 during his playing days, while Wembanyama is 7-foot-4 with an estimated 8-foot wingspan, and the scariest part is that he might keep growing for another year or two.

Wembanyama’s physical prominence gives him an obvious edge over every single planet on Earth, but he’s more than just a tall and lanky player.

He’s got handles, a nice jump shot, and a high basketball IQ, and while he may not win seven titles like Brady did, he’s also expected to make history in his sport.
