The New Orleans Saints have had somewhat of a rocky start to the Derek Carr era in the Big Easy, with the team struggling to be consistent throughout the 2023 campaign, leading many to believe this team might not have what it takes to make it to the NFL playoffs this season.

At one point, the Saints had lost four out of five games, and the team seemed to be fractured, especially offensively, even with Carr being an upgrade at the quarterback position this year.

However, the Saints might be starting to come around, with the team winning two straight games while seeing their offense beginning to click as the team hoped it would coming into the 2023 campaign.

On Sunday, New Orleans was able to get the best of the Chicago Bears at the Caesars Superdome on their home field, with versatile quarterback/running back/tight end Tayson Hill getting it done all over the field as he threw for a touchdown and caught another.

After the game, Hill talked about how the offense is starting to come together for the Saints via NFL on CBS.

As AJ Ross pointed out, Hill also led the team in rushing, finishing with 52 yards on 11 carries, which is remarkable, considering the team has one of the best backs in the league in Alvin Kamara.

Earlier in the season, Hill was not getting used properly in this offense, resulting in quite a few games where it didn’t even seem like he was on the field.

Clearly, the coaching staff has figured out that this team is better with Hill involved as much as possible, as he may get more and more touches moving forward.
