For years, the New Orleans Saints have had one of the most versatile weapons in the game.

Taysom Hill has been the jack of all trades, the ultimate Swiss Army knife for the team since the Sean Payton days.

His versatile and dynamic skill set helped him make history and lead the team to a much-needed win on Week 8.

With just over six minutes left in the game, QB Derek Carr hit Hill for a two-yard score to tie the game at 14.

Then, Hill found Juwan Johnson to get his first touchdown pass of the season.

He finished the game 1-of-1 passing for three yards and a score, adding four receptions for 13 yards and a touchdown, and 11 carries for 52 yards.

With that performance, he became just the fifth player in NFL history to get at least ten passing touchdowns, ten receiving touchdowns, and ten rushing touchdowns in his career, and the first since Frank Gifford in 1964 (via ESPN Stats & Info).

ESPN also reports that all other four players with those numbers have all been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

That sounds like a bit of a reach for Hill, but he’s already made NFL history, and no one can take anything away from him.

He entered the game with ten passing touchdowns, 26 rushing touchdowns, and nine receiving touchdowns in his career, and he’ll continue to add to those numbers every single time he’s on the field.

Hill’s presence allows the Saints to do so much on offense, as other teams will always have to keep guessing what he’s going to do.
