Lionel Messi will have another familiar face joining him in MLS as Inter Miami have agreed to a deal with Luis Suarez, according to multiple reports.

The 36-year-old is playing for Brazil’s Serie A club Grêmio’s and is expected to depart in December after signing a two-year contract in December 2022. Rumours about a move to MLS started after Messi joined Inter Miami back in July.
Suarez played with Messi during their time in Barcelona. During his club career, Suarez has played for top European clubs Ajax, Liverpool, Barcelona and Atlético Madrid, scoring 450 goals and winning over 20 trophies at the club level.
At the international level, Suarez is the all-time leading scorer for Uruguay with 68 goals in 137 appearances.
After Messi joined, Inter Miami the team went on to win the Leagues Cup and will make their debut in the Concacaf Champions Cup next February.
