The Philadelphia 76ers registered their first win of the 2023-24 NBA season.

The victory came against the Toronto Raptors, who are no longer one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference.

It was a comfortable 114-107 win for Nick Nurse and his players.

Patrick Beverley was particularly joyous with the victory against the Raptors.

In fact, Beverley even doubled down on his comments about Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby via Legion Hoops on Twitter.

“Like I said. No dogs,” Beverley said.

Beverley insulted the two players by claiming that they had no dog in them.

More often than not, Patrick Beverley is the loudest player both on and off the court.

But he mostly doesn’t have good performances to back up those claims.

Even against the Raptors, Beverley had just 2 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists in 17 minutes of playing time.

Despite that, Beverley trash-talked after the game.

Following the comfortable win against the Raptors, the 76ers are now 1-1 for the season.

Considering they are still playing without James Harden due to his stalemate with the organization, it’s a good enough record to start the season.

The 76ers will hope to quickly sort out the issue with Harden so they can focus on competing for the NBA Championship during the 2023-24 season.
