Blue Bombers playoff game causes Jets to move up Nov. 11 puck drop

The Winnipeg Jets have rescheduled their Nov. 11 game against the Dallas Stars by one hour, from 3 p.m. CT to 2 p.m. CT, the club announced Thursday.

The move was made to accommodate the Winnipeg Blue Bomber’s playoff game, happening at 5:30 p.m. CT on the same afternoon. Should fans plan to watch both games, this hour difference will prevent any overlap between the two games.

Though the Jets have had some attendance issues this season, the same can’t be said for their CFL counterpart, who have one of the highest attendances in the league with an average of 30,480 fans per game — roughly 7,900 more than the league average.

The Blue Bombers, who have a bye during the first round of the CFL playoffs, are awaiting the results West semifinals to find out their matchup for the West Final, which will determine who will compete for the Grey Cup.
