After failed stints with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears, troubled wide receiver and former second-round pick Chase Claypool has been traded to the Miami Dolphins, with Mike McDaniel and company hoping to unleash his potential.

Claypool was a problem for the Steelers and Bears, which led to multiple trades and now has resulted in potentially his last chance to shine in the NFL with the Dolphins.

Miami could be the ideal landing spot for Claypool, with the team thriving in the passing game this season, led by quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, arguably an MVP candidate right now, and the dynamic duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle downfield.

With Claypool now in the fold in Miami, Hill talked about his newest teammate in the receiving corps and gave a rather odd description of the 25-year-old out of Notre Dame, via Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post.

That doesn’t seem to be the most flattering of descriptions as one would think it would be more attributed to a 300-pound lineman, but Hill might have been complimenting him regarding his size and speed, as he towers over the speedy receiver at 6-foot-4.

As for how Claypool will fare in the Dolphins’ passing game, it’s anyone’s guess, as he could make this team virtually unstoppable downfield or become a problem like he was in Pittsburgh and Chicago.

However, it seems like a low-risk, high-reward situation for Miami, as they could part ways with him if it doesn’t work or make the team that much more dominant offensively if things pan out.
