The Milwaukee Bucks sent shockwaves throughout the NBA recently when the team pulled off a blockbuster three-team trade with the Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers in order to acquire superstar guard Damian Lillard ahead of training camp.

The move made a lot of noise around the league, and rightfully so, with Lillard and fellow superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo being as intimidating a duo as any in the NBA this year.

Even though they’ve been teammates for a few weeks now, no one has seen what this duo looks like on the basketball floor outside of their teammates and coaching staff.

Fortunately, that dynamic duo debut is just around the corner, as they are both expected to start for the Bucks on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena.

According to new Bucks head coach Adrian Griffin, Sunday’s game will be the first time these two superstars will play alongside one another, via NBA on ESPN.

There’s no better way for these two superstars to make their debut playing with each other than to do it under the bright lights of Los Angeles in what could potentially be an NBA Finals preview, even though that prediction is way too early to make.

It’ll be interesting to see if there’s instant chemistry between Antetokounmpo and Lillard, as the success of this new-look squad in Milwaukee will entirely depend on whether this duo works out on the basketball floor.

Currently, the Bucks and Boston Celtics are the two best teams in the league on paper, while the Lakers are also hoping to make a case for the distinction with one of the deepest squads in the league.
