NFL Fans Call Out Referee For Favoring The Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are the team to beat in the league right now.

They were already quite popular before all the Taylor Swift frenzy, and it’s not like they needed a lot of help to win some games.

However, over the past couple of years, and especially as of late, they’ve been tangled up in some questionable decisions, with fans tending to think that the officials are doing them some favors.

That’s why NFL insider Dov Kleiman put them on blast by sharing a clip of referees telling Chiefs CB L’Jarius Sneed to put his helmet on instead of penalizing them as established in the rulebook, and the fans had plenty to say about that.

Truth be told, this isn’t the first time the Chiefs have been pointed out for this sort of thing.

They’re not also the first team that’s been accused of getting help from the referees.

For the better part of two decades, fans compiled dozens of clips of questionable calls to favor the New England Patriots and to protect Tom Brady.

Perhaps that’s the NFL’s way of protecting their most valuable assets and keeping their brand value up, even though that’s the last thing the fans want to see.

Perhaps it’s just a string of honest mistakes, although it seems unlikely.

Whatever the case, everybody just wants to watch a fairly officiated game, even if that means that the team that was supposed to win ends up losing.

The Chiefs are a juggernaut as they are; they don’t need any extra help to win games.
