The GOAT debate in the NBA these days comes down to two players, with avid basketball fans either supporting Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan or Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.
Although some people make a case for Kobe Bryant or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the majority has narrowed it down to Jordan and James, and understandably so.
However, there have been a few players who have come through the league that have gotten the attention of many, like Vince Carter, who was amazing to watch for many different reasons, especially when it comes to how athletic he was.
Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas believes that Carter should’ve been in the conversation but didn’t have the mindset to make it happen via Legion Hoops.

Arenas is actually on point with this one, as Carter had all the tools to be an incredible player in the NBA.
Carter was without a doubt one of the most entering in the NBA during his prime while sharing the spotlight with Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, and Allen Iverson.
Fortunately for Carter, he’s still considered to be a memorable player who had some unforgettable moments but will unfortunately never be in the mix for the GOAT, as he was never able to put it all together.
Due to the constant injury problems he had throughout his career, Carter was never a serious candidate to be in the GOAT debate.
